Free from this iron clad, the mounted walls, the bitter taste.
Upon this floor where I lay, the only this that separates
A painted picture from my actuality.
And I forget this place, a bitter curl around your waist, my arm stretched.
And now I've left alone, when you needed me the most.
My thoughts and fears conspire as one when I wash away this reddened rung. A stain left on my desk, a wine glass represents, well, not a thing.

I've got this aching in my back.
Free from the chains of my past
I am breaking out of this cage, I am free.
I am everything that you could hope to be.

Breath a shallow breath, from timid lungs.
I can guess which way the cycle swung,
I wish I had left when the patterns reemerged and
Recollect their winners prize, of liars debts and seeking eyes
Behind aged door cracks, reminds me,oh I forget,
No i forced myself, but I'll face it soon enough.

I've got this aching in my back.
Free from the chains of my past
I am breaking out of this cage, I am free.
From this hold over me, and hollow dead bodies.
But I've got it now, and I'm not letting go.
I've found my peace and a chance to be whole.
So light the fire, let it burn, let it be forgotten,
Let it be apart of something you will never be.

And every time I held your face in my hands
I knew what you could be.
You had only to remember it was you who gave me peace.
